Cool rock either way

Looking for more opals in the yard and found this. I can see faces in anything (I’ve been told) but it’s a cool rock anyway. What do you think? Could only load 3 pics. Have many more.

My opinion would be yes but likely could never be proven. Certainly a cool rock.

I am unfamiliar with opals as a material, I cannot account for the flake removal or coloration under a natural context, figuratively it works for some basic descriptions often found in more qualifying finds, so it works as a figure stone and looks to be modified.
