First find ever, don’t recall picking it up, as I was looking for points. Found it weeks later in my sweatshirt pocket

I see what you do in some, not all. Nothing to worry about though, I don’t think your crazy, for what that’s worth. I have pieces in my basement I have forgotten what I originally saw in them, to get a feel for a piece in 2 D is tough sometimes. On another note, I saw a bumper sticker the other day that read, “I am the man from Nantucket.” Gave me a chuckle.

Thanks, one of my biggest inspections of these stones are proof of manipulation, a ground flat edge, percussion flaking, and they all seem to have obvious eyes, usually on both sides. Then the tiny intricacies, like a V shaped mouth cut in a snake. It amazes me that some even hold their ink/paint What I’m finding is woodland era stuff. 4-600 years old, maybe slightly more some pieces. Someday soon I’m sure our phones and laptops will have 3-d photos. That would be great for a site like this.

That classic thumb shape again, with cutting blade on the inside edge, I have them here also, same in india, syria, USA, UK, France, Germany, Russia, probebly China (although they wont release the pics) from a global culture for sure, no wonder the profs wont accept it, makes them all look like fools.
