Is this supposed to be a pendant

I was wondering if this might be a pendant? If it is it was worn upside down. I does look like it has some wear, in the mouth from hanging, but I am not sure.

I thought stones with holes in were "hag stones" that's what us Pagans call them anyway ,they are meant to be used to view the spirit world,
I guess they could have been made as pendants by non pagans..way before pagans,if you get what I mean

I would suggest that is a figure stone, quite a nice elephant likeness, pendant could be? hard to support that with evidence. The hole looks to be modified, so an artifact...
