Stonehenge - Portable Rock Art

New evidence suggests that Stonehenge was first erected in Wales then dismantled and put up on Salisbury plain in England, even more surprising is this could be true as the Welsh circle with a diameter of 110 m, is just like the ditch that encloses Stonehenge, and both stone circles are aligned on the midsummer solstice sunrise. Also, one of the blue stones from the Stonehenge has an unusual cross-section that fits at one of the holes left the Welsh circle.
Best take that folklore seriously as Arthurian legend claims that the wizard Merlin had giants transport Stonehenge to England after stealing the stones from a monument built by Irish giants. The new study suggests one part of that narrative wasn't quite as far-fetched as archaeologists thought.

There is a lot of Arthurian legend and folklore across the UK and France, many places named after folklore. One place that springs to mind is Arthur's grave on Bodmin Moor, where Legend tells of a gold cup that a stranger at the site would offer water to weary travelers from, the cup would never cease to provide and one traveler on horse back was so annoyed at this that he rode off, smashed into a tree and died. Horse, bronze age gold Cup, and man all found at the site later after excavation......

I had read that but without the tie in to the Merlin legend. Hard to believe that is just by chance. Also hard to believe they moved those rocks 3 miles a day, but what do I know.

Maybe those giants were really just working elephants, and this thing was built a lot earlier than people think.

Or we could go with young earth theory? the flood being about 4400 BP and the creation being 6000BP.......so many huge stones and we cannot even move them today with our machines. the stone of the Pregnant woman in Lebanon being one of them, yet apparently the Romans could move it? or though they seem to have partially failed with its sister stone weighing a mere 1242 tons......

Makes u wonder who was more advanced in building technology! Or at least in moving the raw material! I don’t see the modern machines making any of the massive stone structure of ancient times. Maybe it can be accomplished now but i think the stone would be man made stone! Just a thought!
