Shaman Stones
Wed Jan 31, 2024 11:08 am
I was told that this is a shaman stone and was carried for healing and protection. It has a human face and a bird. When laid on its side back towards its rear. Since birds dwell in the sky and on earth they represent a portal between the natural and spiritual worlds. The distinct diamond shape of the eye signifies that portal.

These or at least the first one I just looked at are ordinary figure stones, possible eoliths. I find it unlikely that anyone could pass down such information over such great time periods, these have nothing to do with any known tribe or culture period. However, the 'teseract' or inverse cube
corner if you like does have some spiritual significance, and is noted in some of myown finds.Portable rock art - Complex cognition

The long necked water bird displayed quite clearly in one of your finds above, reaching backward as though preening its tail feathers is classic figure stone imagery, noted on my eoglyphs chart.

I wasn't trying to attribute it to a particular tribe or culture because I have read basically the same legend that was passed down in several tribes. Yes, I have several birds that are portrayed as preening. This one is my favorite.

Yes, what you have read, or the truth of it is probably the teseract, there is so much rubbish about double headed gods, and ritual, and other worship BS about the prehistoric, and its obvious that nobody actually knows it.... with one exception.... the teseract....

This piece apparently has the common ambiguous optical illusion combination of a hand and water bird. Although I've demonstrated this combo numerous times, not in the same pose as this. The hand in this case also looks very beastly, but fully articulate like a humans, my theory is hybridization, and that the depiction is one of an enemy, the sculpture made by something much more like modern humans.
