Kentucky finds
Thu Dec 09, 2021 4:22 am
Excited about finding this forum. I'm fairly new to hunting artifacts, but I've fell in love with it. This stone was one of my first good finds. It was found in a small creek along a fairly shallow sand bar in South Eastern Kentucky. Was hoping some more experienced and knowledgeable members could help with what is going on there, if anything.. What time period, etc...

Hi, welcome to our forum. Firstly I think I am detecting human agency, all be it only by math in some features, not the usual flake removals, or math in flake removals, although water has played a big part in wearing the evidence away. The possible recognisable glyph content here is very subtle, that can be a thing, I'm not 100% sure here. I see two week elephants, a week gorilla strut, possible lizard depiction, water bird reaching backward.
