Flint like material

This rock looks and acts like flint. Has some well defined work and the use of patina. Found it near the etowah mounds in GA[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It does not look like any flint/chert I know, but I did instantly see a good ape face to the right in the first picture, looks to be deliberate figuration, flake removals making the defining features.. I will have a better look later, other figurative descriptions are almost certain to be found on closer inspection. Like the elephant front half I've just seen
